1. General Policy Statement

Due to the nature of luxury jewelry and custom production:

  • All sales are considered final

  • Returns and refunds are limited and strictly conditional

By placing an order with Carat Luxury, customers acknowledge and accept this policy.


2. Non-Returnable & Non-Refundable Items

The following items are strictly non-returnable and non-refundable:

  • Custom-made or personalized jewelry (name pendants, bespoke designs, custom sizes)

  • Jewelry approved through CADs, renders, sketches, photos, or videos

  • Items that have entered production, casting, setting, polishing, or finishing stages

  • Change-of-mind purchases or buyer’s remorse

  • Items affected by gold, diamond, currency, or market price fluctuations

  • Promotional, discounted, or clearance items

These conditions are necessary due to material irreversibility and market volatility.


3. Eligible Refund Scenarios (Limited)

Refunds or corrective resolutions may be considered only if:

  • Carat Luxury is unable to complete the order due to internal fault

  • A proven manufacturing defect is confirmed by Carat Luxury after inspection

  • The delivered product is materially different from the final approved design

Carat Luxury reserves sole discretion in determining eligibility.


4. Resolution Methods

Where a claim is approved, Carat Luxury may offer one of the following:

  • Repair or correction of the item

  • Replacement of the item

  • Store credit

  • Partial refund (after deductions)

Cash refunds are not guaranteed and are issued only where deemed appropriate by Carat Luxury.


5. Refund Deductions (If Applicable)

Approved refunds may be subject to deductions including but not limited to:

  • Design and CAD costs

  • Material sourcing and casting costs

  • Labor and craftsmanship costs

  • Market volatility losses

  • Payment gateway, bank, or crypto transaction fees

All deductions will be transparently communicated.


6. Store Credit Terms

Store credits:

  • Are valid for 12 months from issue date

  • Are non-transferable

  • Cannot be redeemed for cash

  • May be used toward any Carat Luxury product


7. Order Cancellation Policy

  • Cancellations are permitted within 24 hours of payment only if production has not commenced

  • Once production begins, orders cannot be cancelled

Custom jewelry production often begins immediately after approval.


8. Inspection & Claim Timeline

Customers must:

  • Inspect items immediately upon delivery

  • Report any issues within 48 hours of delivery

  • Provide a clear unboxing video and photographic evidence

Claims submitted after 48 hours are considered accepted and fulfilled.


9. Return Conditions (If Approved)

If a return is authorized:

  • Items must be unused, unworn, and unaltered

  • Must be returned in original packaging

  • Must include all certificates, tags, and documentation

Unauthorized returns will not be accepted.


10. Shipping Costs for Returns

  • Customers are responsible for return shipping costs unless otherwise stated

  • Original shipping, insurance, customs duties, and taxes are non-refundable


11. Chargebacks & Payment Disputes

Unauthorized chargebacks or disputes:

  • Constitute a breach of this policy

  • May result in account suspension

  • Will be contested with supporting documentation

12. Confidentiality & High-Value Orders

For security and privacy reasons:

  • Details of high-value or celebrity orders are never disclosed
